I stayed in the double room which had a tasteful and unique decor. The staff was very welcoming and made me feel at home. The location of the hotel, in a cave in volcanic tuff, was great and in a local area.

When we checked in, quadruple room in a troglodytic bedroom was ready. Location: the hotel was adjacent to Loches after a day's driving as well as the centre of a centuries old town/village with much history.

Staying in a unique cave dwelling was a refreshing experience. We loved the quirky feeling and the comfy beds were offset by lovely decor elements that made for a cozy stay. the delicious breakfast was served in the perfect spot – right inside the caves! Nearby, we found an abundance of cafes and restaurants to try out, which made the location of the hotel a great choice for a foodie exploring the area. the sitting area had plenty of great books and brochures to cast inspiration for your travels.
The humidity in some parts of the hotel made for a slightly uncomfortable feeling.

Stayed in a unique room that was cozy and clean. the atmosphere was charming and the decorations were on point. Every detail provided a hint of the local culture. One of the best aspects was the delicious homemade breakfast served each morning. the convenient location was another plus, as it was easy to explore many attractions in the surrounding area.
The lack of nearby restaurants or entertainment made it necessary to venture out to neighboring towns, but this did not detract from the overall experience. It's best to plan ahead and have your own transportation to explore the area.
